Mudpuddle Rescue from the Very Small

#1 Post by DonSchaeffer » Sun Nov 27, 2022 11:53 pm

Microscopic life in my mudpuddle is entering a new phase. The dominant organisms have been the rotifers almost to the exclusion of everything else. However, a new generation of very small organisms is beginning to emerge. These are flagellates, barely visible under high magnification. New generations of bacteria are also starting to emerge. A few new small ciliates are also beginning to appear.
