Re: Stentor roeselii
WWWW,
I don't think I ever saw that Stentors have cilia all over their body's edges.
I have just focused their outline to "a line."

Where they live is not a problem, but finding them is sometimes a challenge
Re: Stentor roeselii
What a beautiful, huge specimen.
I have read that it can be up to 2mm in size.
So you can easily see it with the " naked eye".
I love such majestic microorganisms.
When it comes to details, I was surprised to see a huge amount of cilia on the surface of this Stentor.
I didn't know about it.
