This is the kind of life that largely inhabits our mudpuddles: half-alive creatures--a different definition of life. When I watch them, they elicit my sympathy because of the way the way they seem to struggle.

Re: Flotsam and Jetsom
Don,
They portrayed my struggles lately.
I watched ones spin real fast around so you see a circle
It was trying to shake something caught to its leg.
Maybe we should take a lesson from them and spin
I don't know maybe I am getting too deep there.
Good Ending !
I was about to say not many rotifers and then bam BIG ONE'S face right up close !

Re: Flotsam and Jetsom
Sometimes they seem bigger because I use a stronger objective lens. I switch around a lot. The interesting thing about those spinning protists is that they seem to turn some kind of stability control off and just let themselves rotate.
Re: Flotsam and Jetsom
Good job Don.
You are persistent and hardworking and I have already got used to the inhabitants of your aquatic farm.
Of course, I mean stubborn and indestructible Rotiffers.
I was watching your movie calmly, but the ending was surprising.
I jumped away from the monitor when suddenly this giant appeared.
