A Maturing Bio-Culture

It was maybe two weeks ago when the generation of rotifers was dominating the mud puddle and the medium-sized protists were all but gone. That's when I added some plant matter from the flower pots on the shelf. Since then a whole new class of micro-organisms has begun maturing in my mud puddle jar. Now there is a bit of diversity and active organisms have begun to range in size from barely visible under high power to just under naked-eye visible.
