These are images of part of a leaf of a rubber plant. Like many others, I found the leaf that had been broken frim the plant (not by me) lying on the shelf. Since it had been sacrificed by nature, I gave it the tribute it deserved by immortalizing (well not really) the wonder of it in pictures. I examined thin sections on the top and bottom of the leaf and tried to get a cross section. Regardless of perspective, the vision of a cactus leaf close up is fascinating.
