The Entropy Increases

#1 Post by DonSchaeffer » Fri Feb 03, 2023 4:19 pm

A leaf of grass goes through the transition of cellular life shutting down. Part of the leaf remains relatively healthy and part is a victim of circulation shut-down. One part of the leaf is composed of orderly lines of cells and another part shows cellular disruption. I draw the analogy with coordination disorders like cancer.

I agree it's interesting to see various levels of decomposition in on tiny leaf. I see this a lot with algae and duckweed in my water samples. Some cells are vibrant, while others are breaking down and attracting bacteria and very tiny organisms that move inside.

That really is interesting. In my environment I don't see the tiny creatures but I wish I did.
