Effects of Aging on a Rubber Tree Leaf

The "rubber tree" plant in the back yard has given me some hours of joy. There is a plant in the back yard that has been there for many months. My impression is that the effects of aging appear minor. The older leaves have more thick vs thin variation, internal cylindrical growths, and fewer "portals" or "breathing holes" perhaps.
