Small leafy sections of a houseplant had broken from the main structure. A part of the soft green stem as in advanced decay and another part was still relatively intact. Masses of spherical structures on the more intact parts of the stem were absent on the more demaged parts. I was puzzled about what these spherical structures are. They are much smaller than cells.
