Longitudinal section of a small candytuft stem (stem was ~3mm's diameter) to show the xylem. Candytuft is Iberis sempervirens, a small flowering plant.
Canon 60D, 20x obj. no stain.

Nice 3D effect
Looked up Iberis sempervirens, typed xylem next to it on a whim and came up with a xylem database! Who knew?
This could get addictive.

It's your fault asking for xylem images. I have some others but tried for something new. Since stem is so small xylem is also small.
Now it is your turn

25x * 1.25, Oblique + Pol
Not sure of this ID, possibly Emilia sp. Flower is pink, stem is quite woody.
