Excellent, Francisco - and almost single-celled humorous. That ciliate looks like me wandering around our kitchen before a cup of coffee.

Can you tell us how you captured that? It looks like there's a bit of oblique light coming in.

Hi Francisco.

Excellent movie.
In addition to ciliates, you can also see a lot of diatoms.
Your video is very vivid and rich in colors.
The technique is probably a continuation of DIC PZO.
Inspired by your previous shows, I decided to launch my DIC PZO.
So far, I have only mounted a DIC head on my tripod.
Then it's time for the condenser.
Perhaps this year I will be able to film something using a new technique.

Regards
Maciej

Thanks for your comment.
I have used a PZO microscope equipped with DIC

Hello Maciej
Thanks for your comment
The area where I collect water samples (La Albufera Park - Valencia - Spain) is very rich in many aquatic microorganisms.
I hope you can mount the condenser soon. Please inform us about your progress.
Greetings
