Feeding microorganisms.

#1 Post by microplan » Thu Jan 18, 2024 12:19 pm

One Rotifer, two Paramecium and a whole lot of other microorganisms.
I recognized that much at first glance.
They feed together on a large lump of organic matter.
I think these are the remains of some leaf.
The drop of water in which I found them comes from my breeding farm.
The microscope is CZJ Jenaval.

Maciej

That is really beautiful! Can you share what optical lens you used here, and did you have a cover slip over the drop of water? (I'm still learning...)

Hello.

Don and jackieone thank you so much for your kind review.
This video, like all the others I post on the forum, was shot using a Pentax KIII camera.
Specifically, I made this video with a coverslip and a 25x/0.50 apochromat objective.
I replaced the original halogen lighting with very strong LED lighting.

Regards
Maciej
