The mysterious leathery seeds of the green pepper hide inside the hollow shell of the fruit. When you examine the seeds under high power you can't really solve their mystery. Each seed is a tiny leathery sheet which is difficult to penetrate even with a sharp knife. When I examine the seed even under high power, I can't discern any cell divisions.
