In the Bolshoi Ballet The Stone Flower, the master sculptor Danela is seen contemplating the beauty of a flower--a weed really. There is a lot to study and contemplation on the plant. I found myself imitating Danela this afternoon. And I have a microscope to enhance my contemplation.
