Today I found a strange tree-like organism.
Determination was not difficult, there is only one I could find.

Suctoria are ciliates after all, right?

Suctoria are ciliates that became sessile and waiting on a prey swimming by.
When a prey (mostly other ciliates) touches the tentacles they are sucked empty.
