As the title suggests, this is a non-rational and impulsive effort. I apologize for jumping into this. I had a mandarin orange and a cherry tomato for breakfast today, and I couldn't resist trying to make a comparison of the inner surfaces of the skins of these fruits. This is very disorganized but has some intrinsic interest to me. The skin of the orange is all strength and resistance with strong strings in the structure. The large cells of the tomato are uneven in shape, hollow and fluid-filled. Both have irregular cells.
