From the back lawn I cut a leaf whose circulation was broken and which was transforming into a dead leaf. When I photographed it some of the leaf still looked organic and some of it was quite dried. The difference between these cells was stark. There was an injury point one side of which still showed organic-looking cells and the other side showed shapeless holes.
