Moving among lumps of biofilm in the syrupy water medium, a variety of protists keep reproducing happily. This is the original biofilm sample I have been maintaining all winter, now into early spring. I will be adding new water samples as soon as I can find a natural water source in this suburban lawn neighborhood.
