Soy sauce in DIC

#1 Post by microplan » Tue Apr 30, 2024 11:14 am

Hello.

Today I would like to show you some photos.
They are made using the PZO DIC technique.
They present crystallized soy sauce.
But I'm not too happy with the result.
In my opinion, these photos are too grainy.
I don't know if this is due to some defect in my equipment or if it is just a natural feature of it.

To view stereo photos, you have to cross your eyes

Regards
Maciej

Beautiful but abstract-looking photos.

Off-the-shelf soy sauce contains all manner of undissolved particulates and large impurities that will manifest themselves under high magnification when the solution dries up. Your only other option is to find laboratory-grade soy sauce, probably from Japan, made by a 114 year old semi bearded lady using a recipe developed during the last ice age. You can pre-order a 50 ml bottle now for delivery in 2032 for only $4,500.
