Beautiful,gekko...just in time for holiday colors! Were these 'resting stages' of the flagelate outdoors in strong sunshune...or is it from an indoor culture, gekko? My initial 'stash' of this flagelate are in an outdoor garden bird bath. charlie guevara

Really nice images. Simple, but striking.

Thank you very much, charlie, for your kind comment. Yes, those were resting stages that I think do not appear to be terribly happy (not much green there). CE sent me these two or three years ago and they the have been sitting in a glass baby food jar inside on a south facing window sill with virtually no maintenance (every few weeks or months I might add a little water). Yes, I believe CE actually got them from his bird bath.charlie g wrote:Beautiful,gekko...just in time for holiday colors!
