...this is a very interesting comparison.
Looking at it again I think I should have included a 700 pixel image to push it even more firmly into post-processing empty magnification.

I hope the image shows that Optimum Magnification Range (not too little - not too much) applies as much to post-processing as it does to viewing and photographing through the microscope.

Beautiful work 75, not just the subject and lighting, but the technical mastery of shooting, stacking. resizing and the making of the collage.

I know it represents a lot of patient work. Thanks for undertaking and sharing it.

Hi 75 that is a great idea to produce a set of photos where a lot of information can be gained from the raw material. With these photos we can study the chloroplasts as they would appear in the interphase cell. A lot more can be obtained from such mounts. Thank you for a new way of looking at diatoms for studying.
