I apologize in advance for my very amateurish slide prep. I have been having concerning symptoms for some time with no diagnosis so I decided to investigate through blood smears and I can’t seem to figure out what is on the slides (normal or pathogenic?) Im looking at the collection of stained circles. I would really appreciate any kind of feedback you guys may be able to provide. S
Thank you so much

Re: Identification Help
I believe it is considered bad form to ask for help diagnosing disease on this board. In general, I believe it is unwise to be one's own doctor.

I apologize, just hoping to get some ideas. I do have a legitimate interest in learning more about the exploration process from people that know a lot more than me.
Re: Identification Help
Seeking or receiving medical information is a violation of the forum rules.
Re: Identification Help
Hello, Please no medical talk on this forum. I want to provide a justification for this rule. First, it is impossible to diagnose illnesses like this using microscopy. The shape of blood cells says nothing about health and any irregular or unusual shapes can be explained by artifacts. For medical advice please consult a doctor (but a real one and not one who uses microscopes to do dark-field blood analysis). Online you will find much "info" on blood analysis, which is without scientific basis and which can do much more harm than good, becasue people are kept off seeking valid medical help. In some countries the high cost of medical treatment or dissatisfaction might contribute to this trend of self-diagnosis and seeking of alternative methods, but I can highly dis-advise. I am saying this here, because I want to justify why the forum rules are the way they are.
