Storage Unit for Cover Slips and Glass Slides

#1 Post by dale carter » Sun Aug 09, 2020 2:22 pm

I like to re-use the cover slips and glass slides and found that using a container (a lunch box) with a clip down lid works very well at sealing everything inside the three compartments found inside the lunchbox, including the propyl alcohol. Also use an upside down ice tray that I cut to fit to store the glass slides and cover slips within the lunchbox in one of the compartments and two lens cleaning cloths in the other compartment. This just keeps everything neat and portable.

Very handy, convenient, self-contained idea, Dale. Thanks for sharing.

I use the cardboard egg container I buy eggs in. It has holes on the top for dissection needles and pipettes. The trouble is in seeing the cover glasses. They are essentially invisible to me.
