I don’t have a website. I uploaded a couple pictures to post image, but don’t see how to get them here.

If you right-click the images online you should be able to copy the image address. Paste this into the post window, highlight it, then press the "insert image" button. It is right above the message box on the left, next to the asterisk button.

You can upload photos up to 1024 pixels and 500kb Size directly to the forum. This way they are available for as long as the forum exists. The free image hosters die one after the other and the threads are useless without the images. I use Irfan view for quick image editing.

Go to the image you uploaded in postimage.
Click on the three dots above the image Choose: Hotlink for Forums

Paste directly into post a reply with right click

I use imgbb.com, never tried others. It gives you BBcode links once you upload the images. Just need to click copy and paste here. There is a 'copy' button appearing in the upper right corner when you hover the mouse...

I am albig fan of irfanView where one of the options to save a file is a particular size like 500 kb

Go to the bottom of the comment you are writing, there are two tabs, one that says "Options" and one that says "Attachments". Click on the attachments one and I think you can upload your own photos directly as long as they are 1024 pixels and 500kb Size as mentioned before.
