I made an extension tube for my Amscope T420c infinity scope. I made a base polarizer to fit over the illuminator that can be rotated. I made an analyzer to put into the extension tube and several oblique filters in a strip for the extension tube. I made a set of oblique filters for the condenser filter holder. Using the filter in the center of the strip with polarization set at 30% and a tourquoise filter in the condenser filter holder, I took a photo of the resulting image of pond water at 10x. Using the oblique filter in the extension tube gave more shadowing and enhanced the 3d effect.
Has anyone else done this type of thing?
