Question about Nikon camera adapter / lens

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone has tried this TMount with 2x lens with a Nikon and compound microscope. I have the Nikon D7500 and Swift SW350T. I saw the video with a similar one from Oliver but think this is slightly different. I have read so much and looked at so many, I am not sure what is best. I would not attempt to send anything back to Aliexpress so don't want to waste my money. Any advice appreciated.

I am new to microscope photography and not sure if 2x would be a good lens. They also have a 9.6x lens. I am looking to fill the frame with similar view to the 10x eyepiece.

I am trying to get some good clear photos. I ordered a separate T mount and 0.5 lens but they don't fit my camera or microscope.

Thanks,

Balfroni

The 2x would be the better bet.

I have gotten decent results with the ndpl 2x on some scopes. Baaed on reviews there seems to maybe be some variation from copy to copy and differing performance on different systems.

I have a Swift 350T scope and found that the primary image is not flat (i.e. a small shift in focus was required to make the edges sharp). When I used a Nikon D3000 dSLR and T-mount eyepiece adapter with a 0.5x reduction lens, the edges of the picture still had a different point of focus. It seems the eyepieces are designed to help flatten the field produced by the objectives. I get better results taking pictures through the eyepiece when I want to capture to full field of view. Otherwise I use a USB camera with a small sensor and no accessory lens to capture the center 1/5 of the primary image and that works fine.

Thanks very much for your answers. Not sure what to go with with but good to know that the 2x is a better option :-)
