Linux Hayear Touplite using HY-500B , no live images present!

Dear users of Zeiss Standard junior microscope and USB webcam
I am very satisfied with my HY-500B using windows 10 but have now changed to Linux Mint 21.1 and using linux Touplite from Hayears download section on the oficial webpage .
The problem is that even if the webcam 500B is recognized, no live image is present , see the attached screenshots ,
the main screen is only gray . I can load already existing images , no problem , but can not get any live images or videos .
What is wrong . Should additional video files be installed or is the version not the latest and greatest for Linux ?. The application are to be able to measure the distance between spheres and the diameter of round spheres in the size of 2-10 um .
Please advise what to do , any other linux microscope program that have measuring capabilities and webcam support ?!
