Olumpus C35 focal flange distance

#1 Post by Tailgunner » Fri Aug 25, 2023 12:54 am

Can somebody tell me what the focal flange distance is on the old Olympus C35 microscope cameras?
I've bought an Olympus PM10A microscope attachement andI'm trying to figure out what adapters I would need to get the image on the sensor plane.
I've an adaptation with the PM10A with a Canon EOS, but the FFD is slightly of to that of a Nikon. Canon EF (44 mm), Nikon F (46.50mm).
So I guess I should be 2.5 mm closer to the microscope.

That's the reason I can't use the OM-Mount Photomicro Adapter L. I would have to shorten the tube (btw are their drawings available with measurements for the OM-Mount Photomicro Adapter L, can't find them).

With the pm10a you can remove the entire camera mount to reveal a 67mm thread. It seems to have the same ffd as an om system dslr(?) though my own impression was that it was shorter.
