Javelin Chromachip Camera

#1 Post by tbarnes » Wed Feb 17, 2016 3:02 am

Question I bought a scope that had a Javelin camera attached to it. It had the 12volt power and cords that had white red green blue BNC connectors.

I bought on ebay an adapter that took the BNC connectors into a VGA connection. But I still got no image when hooked up to my LCD monitor.

So here is the question is the signal out of these cameras analog and I need something to convert it to digital? If so what is recommended?

Hi tbarnes,

I am afraid I and it would seem others here have no experience with that camera.
I believe it is a CCTV security Camera? Other than finding the manual on the web using the model number I can only suggest you try and contact a firm that sells or installs them. Good luck
Zeiss Standard WL (somewhat fashion challenged) & Wild M8
Olympus E-P2 (Micro Four Thirds Camera)
