Im wondering if anyone would know if this Zeiss ACHROSTIGMAT 20x objective:

is compatible with this Zeiss AXIOLAB microscope?:

The objectives on my microscope say ACHROMAT, not ACHROSTIGMAT like in the eBay link. Appreciate the responses.

Re: Compatibility of a Zeiss 20x objective
Achrostigmats were similar to CP Achromats( clinical plan achromats). They are not as flat over as wide a field as plan achromats, something similar to Neoplan or semi-plan objectives.
They were a briefly sold budget line that Zeiss sold back in the early days of their entry into an infinity optical system.
They would not be as good an objective as what you already have.

Re: Compatibility of a Zeiss 20x objective
As long as the threads are good. It is R.M.S. and infinity corrected for the German made Zeiss system ( 165.4mm reference length). I can't comment about parfocality but since it is a 20X , it has a slightly longer w.d. than a high dry or oil immersion objective, so would not be too far off. Sometmes one has to focus down a bit ftom a 20X.
