Olympus BX40's U-READB
Olympus BX40's U-READB
So I have a BX40, but I need a the adapter to mount more capable turrets onto it. Here's the first round of prototypes based off the other adapters I've done and posted here:

Hi Bob,
interesting, so what other turrets are you fitting to your BX?

Re: Olympus BX40's U-READB
Looks good Bob! all that really need is the other-side. From images of the actual adapter 'U-READB' the other (i.e. the same as the top of a fixed-nosepiece) is a simple circular protrusion that grub-screws into the frame...
Have you seen the images of the actual adapter that I posted?
The side you've made so-far,

Another piece that will fix/stick to the piece you have made, will need this feature. Alternatively of course a one-piece part as in the metal original would be great!

If you can make one of these - you'll have me slavering for a test-drive of it!!

Re: Olympus BX40's U-READB
microb, how did your homemade U-READB adapter work? I’m in need of a U-READB also and I wanted to see if making (machining or even 3d printing) an adapter is viable.
Thanks!
Thanks!
