Swift Optical Instruments was originally a Japanese manufacturer of microscopes.

The original Swift brand lapsed and is now used by microscopeworld.com as their house brand. Current Swift microscopes are Chinese designed and manufactured at similar price and performance points to those of AmScope and Omax.
