Hello everyone,
I am thinking of buying a microscope and using an Compact Camera for taking pictures. I have seen before in videos an adaptor (like the one in the image) that directly connects the pocket camera with the eyepiece. Though I haven't been able to find it anywhere, so I would appreciate if someone could help.

Re: A pocket camera adaptor
In my experience the lenses of these cameras show defects when used on the microscope that doesn't show in normal photography. This limits the acheivable image quality. This effect comes from the way the plastic lenses are made and from dirt inside the objectives. The problem mostly shows in stronger magnifications. There are concentric rings and dots, two different problems. Here a photo with dots.
