Hi,
I just set up a web site to explain and answer questions about coincident focus microscopy. I would be glad to write an article about it if there is interest in this subject here.
Coincident focus is a new confocal-like method that provides superior contrast, but it really shines with scanning methods, where UV resolutions can be achieved when doing fluorescent microscopy. Further, the contrast can be SO good that it is possible to quantitatively analyze individual voxels.
