Hi LKOLTON,

Perhaps I don't understand the construction of your condenser.  But if there is a slot where you can insert the UFG loosely instead of the slider that holds the phase annlus, that is all that is required.  You don't want any sliders, whether Zeiss or other:  just push the UFG into the slot, and move it around by hand to get the effect you want.  At least that is how I imagine it.  Or do I misunderstand?

Gekko,
You are absolutely right. The filter strip can be inserted without the slider. It is less elegant than with a slider because if you inadvertently touch the filter , it will move within the slot but it can definitely work as you said.
Thank you for this comment. Sometimes I have a tendency to over complicate simple thingsLaugh

Let there be (oblique) light.

LKOLTON, I think it would be great to design/make something more elegant, but at least in the beginning, I think it would be better to actually try it in a simple way to see how it works and what results you get; then you'll have better ideas on how to improve it.
