I bought a 2 megapixel Celestron 44421 camera (23 mm diameter) to put on my Bausch & Lomb 30x stereoscope.

 

It only sees about a third of what my eyes can see.

 

Can it be modified to see the entire field of view?  Are there adapters that can do this?

 

Does a 5 megapixel camera have a wider field of view?

 

It needs to see about 24 mm in width at a height of 110 mm.
