Ok so I made this filter that was trying to produce darkfield however it produce stunning oblique illumination. So here is how you make it
1) Find some opaque cardboard, pencil, and a sufficient cutting apparatus (eg. scissors)
2) Draw a circle the size of your filter holder, then within that circle draw two straight parallel lines vertically
with some distance from each other note: make sure each line is the same length also make sure each line is near the edge of the circle.
3) Cut those drawn lines and main circle and you should end up with a rectangular like patch stop with a circular edge.
This patch stop will give an enhanced depth and contrast however some cell parts might be lost but this gives each specimen texture.
Always put this on abbe condenser with the highest aperture lowering for experimenting is possible and the condenser as close to the slide as possible.
