Once again, assuming these are Spathidium.  Sorry for my camera work, I am still getting used to following these guys around.  In the second video, he goes kind of crazy, just spinning around.  Also, do they actually contract as seen in the videos, or are they just turning around so it appears they contract??

So, I was doing some research, and it appears to me that these are actually free swimming Vorticella that broke off their stems???  Am I correct?  Thanks for all the help and comments I have been receiving this far!
