There are several ways how you can listen to the different podcast episodes:
- You can directly play them in the podcast player
- You can play them on your mobile phone in a Podcast App
I will explain here, how you can listen to the podcast using your mobile phone and an app. You have to manually type in (or copy-paste) the feed address of the podcast that you want to listen to. Once the address is in the app, you can then easily listen to the podcast without having to visit the website. You can listen to the episodes directly from the app.
Google Podcasts
Google Podcasts is available for both Android and iOS. You can directly search for the podcast (Microbehunter) and subscribe to it, or you can add the RSS feed manually. Click Activity (bottom), go into the Subscriptions menu (top) and click on the three dots in the top right corner. You can then select Add by RSS feed and type in the feed address of the Podcast: https://www.microbehunter.com/feed/podcast
This app has a problem, however, and therefore I can not fully recommend it. Once you have subscribed to some podcasts, you can not unsubscribe anymore… It subscribes again automatically. This seems to be a bug and several people have already reported on this.
Antenna Pod
This app is an open source app for Android. Click on the three lines on the top left, then Add Podcast. In the Advanced section on the bottom part of the screen, you can select Add Podcast by RSS address. Type in the feed address of the Podcast: https://www.microbehunter.com/feed/podcast
iTunes
Apple’s iTunes also allows you to directly subscribe to a podcast, by typing in the RSS feed address. Click the Library button. Click Edit (upper-right corner), Click “Add a Show by URL”, Type or paste the feed address and then click subscribe.
